The HoHo in Vienna is a completely new type of commercial space. Commercial space for restaurants, health, beauty, wellness, business, hotel and apartments extends over 24 floors. With a total height of 84 meters and 24 floors, the HoHo is currently one of the tallest wooden high-rise buildings in the world. It has a total gross floor area of 25,000 m², of which 19,500 m² is rental space and 3,920 m² is land. When you look at the HoHo Vienna from the outside, you think of huge wooden building blocks put together in a triangle. Naturalness on the outside and visibility of the wooden surfaces on the inside are part of the core idea for a tangible experience of the element of wood.
Working at the pulse of the city
The HoHo Vienna not only looks chic, but also demonstrates creativity in the use of space: the modular office structure allows for individual rearrangements that can be changed at any time without great effort. This flexible floor plan design also ensures that this timber high-rise never loses its appeal for tenants, as it can be used for a very long time in a friendly atmosphere. The holistic concept by architect Rüdiger Lainer creates the feel-good factor by itself, so to speak - because this "feel-good" factor can be experienced daily by all those who pass by and all those who enter.
The HoHo in Vienna was designed by RLP Rüdiger Lainer + PartnerArch. Prof. DI Rüdiger Lainer. The client was Cetus Baudevelopment GmbH from Vienna. The following DOYMA products were used: Curaflex® 3000, Curaflex® Nova Uno, Curaflex® C, Curaflex® Aquagard. The professional installation was carried out by the contractor Handler Bau GesmbH from Bad Schönau, Austria.
