Taking responsibility. Shaping the future.

DOYMA is committed! - As a successful and growing family business, we are aware of our obligation to our customers, suppliers and employees. DOYMA also assumes social responsibility and is committed to social and environmental issues to which the company can contribute. In addition to donation activities, DOYMA uses all opportunities and competencies specifically for the benefit of the general public - especially in the region.

Think globally, act locally

We are delighted to highlight a special initiative as part of our sponsorship programme: a recent event organised by the sponsors in aid of the youth fire brigade was attended in person by our managing partner, Tanja Kraas. As an expert in fire protection and sealing systems, DOYMA GmbH & Co not only stands for quality and safety, but also takes responsibility and is committed to sponsoring numerous projects. Thanks to the funding provided, significant purchases have been made, which particularly benefit youth development and fire safety education. These include, amongst other things, a refrigerated trailer with an integrated bouncy castle and a lovingly designed fire-themed doll’s house with Playmobil figures and appropriate equipment for use in schools. These projects make a valuable contribution to raising awareness of fire safety among children and young people at an early age, whilst also supporting the important work of the youth fire brigade. We are proud to be part of this initiative and would like to thank everyone involved for their commitment.

SOS Children's Village Worpswede

The DOYMA Christmas party, to which all employees are traditionally invited, is a very special highlight every year. The event could not take place in 2020, although various concepts were examined. With the cancellation, which was difficult for the company management, the date for the celebrations in 2021 was communicated straight away. Each employee also received a voucher for a Christmas tree, which the team was delighted to receive. While some traditionally put up a Christmas tree and secured their personal DOYMA fir tree, others donated the voucher, as the DOYMA management had announced that it would donate 40 euros to the SOS Children's Village Worpswede for every voucher that was not redeemed. In this way, an impressive sum of 2,360 euros was raised for the benefit of the children!

Children's Home
"Kleine Strolche" e. V.

DOYMA is particularly concerned about the welfare of children, which is why we are an official sponsor of the Kleine Strolche children's home. The association Kinderheim Kleine Strolche e. V. was founded in 2018. In the same year, the children's home found the perfect location for setting up a therapeutic center at the Ovelgönne manor in Bücken. Animal-assisted, curative education, child and adolescent psychiatric and psychotherapeutic services for the recovery of traumatized children are continuously being expanded.

Colin helps Paul. DOYMA helps Colin.

Colin Rimbach has been collecting donations for the German Children's Hospice Association (DKHV) for many years. In the meantime, many thousands of euros have been raised. The idea was sparked by a squeaky duck at Easter and comedian Paul Panzer. Colin was just eight years old at the time and saw a photo of Dieter Tappert, alias Paul Panzer, on the Internet, who handed over a cheque for several thousand euros to the DKHV. Colin quickly realized that he wanted to help support the good cause. Colin himself received his very first rubber duck as a gift at the same time. "Combining the two things immediately came to mind," says Colin. "Everyone is happy about ducks."
DOYMA launches a new motif duck every year as part of our advertising material. We sponsor part of it for Colin and support the DKHV in this way.

The food banks: Saving food. Helping people.

DOYMA has been supporting ACHIMER TAFEL e. V. in Achim for many years. The entire goods coordination and logistics take place there. Every day from 9 a.m., a team of 25 drivers with two vehicles is on duty to collect goods from the markets, swap goods with neighboring food banks or supply the branches in Bassen or Lunsen. A team of around 65 helpers sorts the delivered food and prepares it for distribution or delivery to the branches. All of this requires time and financial resources. This is why DOYMA makes regular donations to the food banks.

Commitment to people and nature

DOYMA is not only committed to social causes, but also to sustainable environmental projects. In cooperation with the Oyten-based environmental organization "Wühlmäuse", DOYMA has not only made flower meadows bloom in the past, but also brought a smile to the faces of the voles themselves thanks to sponsored work vests. DOYMA's young employees also learn about sustainable management and commitment. As part of their project work, the curriculum not only included project management, but also the construction of a seating area for the benefit of the community.

DOYMA supports the TV Oyten Vampires (handball department of TV Oyten) as a jersey sponsor. The club's 1st women's team plays in the third division and wears the DOYMA logo on its belly. School association at the Sagehorn elementary school "För use Lüttjen"

The school association "För use Lüttjen" was founded in 1995 to mark the opening of Sagehorn elementary school. Just like the pupils, the association is a motley group that, despite its diversity, pursues a common goal: To make the children's time at school worth experiencing while creating a sense of togetherness that excludes no one. DOYMA supports the aims of the association and in particular supports children who need more specific support in terms of language or other areas. At the same time, it supports the "Lego Mindstorms" project, in which children learn how to program robots in a fun and practical way.

Each year, the donation goes to a different aid organization or charitable campaign. In addition, projects or charitable activities organized or supported by DOYMA employees are sponsored.
