Efficiency and short transportation routes
The cold rolling mill in Bremen supplies coils with a width of up to 2080 mm and a maximum weight of 36 tons throughout Europe, thus setting standards on the market. ArcelorMittal is positioned with state-of-the-art plant technology and a wide range of industries, from the automotive and construction industries to the packaging sector. ArcelorMittal is also one of the most important employers in the region. Furthermore, the smooth production process is supported by the connection to the second site in Bottrop.
In Bremen, we produce up to 3.5 million tons of crude steel per year.
The AcelorMittal company on their website
The renovation of the pressurized water-tight media pipe sealing systems in the power rolling mill of ArcelorMittal GmbH in Bremen required special solutions. DOYMA supplied Curaflex® C/M/T, Curaflex® A/M/T and Curaflex® C/T/S sealing systems in split versions via HTI Cordes & Gräfe KG from Stuhr. The DOYMA products were then professionally installed by the Bremen-based companies Universal Rohrleitungs GmbH and H. Weber GmbH & Co.
