As an industrial company, we strive to meet the challenges of our time by increasing our commitment to sustainability. We are increasingly pursuing the use of technologies that provide access to clean energy and are environmentally friendly. In addition, we are committed to regional environmental projects in order to sustainably improve the world directly at our location. In this way, we make our contribution and are proud of it.
Photovoltaics at DOYMA
Since February 2019, our photovoltaic system (385 kWp) with more than 300 modules on the roofs of our production halls has been capturing the power of the sun. We have now been able to draw the first positive conclusions. Conclusion: clean! We were able to reduce emissions by almost 60 tons of CO₂! The energy generated is used to power our halls. It's not just us who are happy – the environment is happy too! A step in the right direction for sustainable energy generation and use at DOYMA GmbH & Co.
Renovate energy-efficiently, save energy
Renovating buildings in an energy-efficient way and saving energy are no longer just a trend, but help to do something good for the environment in the long term. Heat pump heating systems can generate both climate-friendly and cost-effective heat, as the systems use renewable energies. The installation of a heat pump is primarily suitable for new buildings and energy-efficient renovated buildings. DOYMA GmbH & Co naturally offers the right house entry system for all heat pump types and has published a planning aid for this purpose.

Commitment to people and nature
DOYMA is not only committed to social causes, but also to sustainable environmental projects. In cooperation with the Oyten-based environmental organization "Wühlmäuse", DOYMA has not only made flower meadows bloom in the past, but also put a smile on the faces of the voles themselves thanks to sponsored work vests. DOYMA's young talents are also learning about sustainable management and commitment. As part of their project work, the curriculum not only included project management, but also the construction of a seating area for the benefit of the community.
Busy bees at DOYMA
The protection of wild and honey bees requires sustainable action, because a world without bees would be unthinkable for our biodiversity and thus ultimately for our survival. To make an active contribution against bee mortality, DOYMA shareholder Kerstin Ihlenfeldt-Wulfes has decided to have a beehive installed on the DOYMA premises.
