Sustainability

We are committed to the responsible use of resources

Sustainability is important to us

DOYMA is implementing measures at its site in the areas of energy, the environment and social responsibility. The use of technologies that enable access to clean energy, such as solar energy: we are increasingly focusing on harnessing solar radiation via photovoltaics to generate electricity. Furthermore, we are committed to regional environmental projects in order to make a sustainable difference to the world right here at our site. In this way, we are doing our bit, and we are proud of it.

DOYMA on EcoVadis

Our sustainability activities are also assessed as part of the EcoVadis rating. DOYMA underwent the rating process for the first time in 2024 and has since been reassessed. We achieved Bronze status, ranking within the top 35 per cent.

Transparency through reliable product data

EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations) provide standardised information on the environmental impacts of construction products across defined life cycle stages. They thus assist designers and other stakeholders in the construction sector with the documentation and assessment of products. DOYMA provides the relevant EPD documentation for the Curaflex Nova® and DOYMAfix® product ranges. The declarations are clearly linked to the respective product and are available both via the product information and in the EPD database. This allows relevant data to be searched for specifically and taken into account, for example, in life cycle assessments, building certifications or tenders. Reliable data. Clear allocation. Greater transparency in planning.

DOYMA relies on solar energy to power its operations

We have been using photovoltaic systems to power our operations since 2019 and have continuously expanded our installations over the years. Today, we operate several photovoltaic systems across various areas of our site. On our premises, the photovoltaic systems installed on our buildings generate a total output of 499.76 kWp – a tangible contribution to a resource-efficient and forward-looking energy supply. Since 2026, a photovoltaic system on our façade has also been part of our portfolio. In this way, we are gradually expanding the use of solar energy within our operations.

Solutions for refurbishment and heat pumps

With our building entry systems, we offer solutions for a range of requirements in building services engineering – both for the refurbishment of existing buildings and for the installation of heat pumps. The Quadro-Secura® Quick has been developed for the retrofit installation and sealing of pipe penetrations and is particularly suitable for refurbishment and retrofitting projects. For the building entry of heat pumps, DOYMA offers various solutions for different installation situations with DOYMAfix®. The products can be used in both new-build and refurbishment projects. We thus offer solutions for a range of structural requirements – from retrofitting pipe penetrations in existing buildings to building entries for heat pumps.

Commitment to nature and the environment

In addition to our social commitment, DOYMA also supports regional projects relating to nature and the environment. These include, for example, our collaboration with the ‘Wühlmäuse’ and the creation and maintenance of wildflower meadows on our premises. We also have a beehive as part of our activities at the site. Through these measures, we are creating spaces and opportunities where different plant and animal species can thrive. In doing so, we aim to promote nature and biodiversity directly at our site and support relevant projects in our local area.

A group of 14 people pose outdoors. Many are wearing green vests with the logo of the Wühlmäuse organisation. Some members are kneeling on the ground, while others are standing. Everyone is smiling at the camera. Trees and a large area of land can be seen in the background.

Our Bee Project

There is a beehive on our premises. Our aim is to create a direct connection to nature on our own site and to learn about the habitat of bees. The project complements our other activities relating to flower meadows and the landscaping of areas on our premises. Our focus is on gaining practical experience of bees and their habitat.
