SAP data center (WDF51)
Walldorf, Germany
SAP has built a new data center in Walldorf. From now on, the new building at the main location complements the performance of the two existing centers in St. Leon-Rot. 86 km of copper cables and 175 km of fiber optic cables were laid on around 20,000 m². In addition to offices, eight computing rooms were created, which increased the performance by 8 MW - this corresponds to approximately 90,000 PCs.
Customers in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region and throughout southern Germany should benefit from the fast connection of their data that SAP manages in the cloud. SAP promises maximum security through an emergency power supply and protection against attacks. The data center is supplied 100% from renewable energies.
