Cable ducts through walls and ceilings All types of supply and disposal lines are the lifeline of our technical world. The undisturbed transmission of energy, water, gases to all areas, e.g. B. a hospital, a factory, a chemical plant is a matter of course for us.

The planning architect, the building surveyor, the legislator, they know the potential danger in such installation networks with regard to the spread of fire and smoke gases. Protection against the harmful effects of a fire is provided by the isolation of all supply and disposal lines that penetrate the walls.

The task of preventive structural fire protection is to provide partitioning systems that prevent fire and smoke from passing through existing cable ducts through ceiling and wall openings.

This can be ensured, for example, with fire protection / pipe sleeves. A large number of requirements and regulations apply to cable bushings in connection with bulkheads, which in total have led to the high safety standard in the field of fire protection in Germany.The large fires also prove that this is not an end in itself, which is unfortunately unavoidable but remains limited in scope.
